Riedberg continues to grow

06.12.2011

Bien Ries has previously realised 200 new apartments titled "feelin' good".

Bien-Ries from Hanau started selling properties belonging to the ambitious new building complex in Riedberg in November. The group are planning to build around 200 apartments on a 20,000 square metre site in three different phases. The project, which has an investment volume of around 65 million Euro will be located in Schöne Aussicht between Kalbacher Höhe, Konrad-Zuse-Strasse and Im Kreuzegut. The first phase encompassing 75 apartments will begin in the summer of 2012.
The build complex was planned by Prof. Ernst Scheffler + Partner (Architekten BDA) in conjunction with architects from Bien-Ries AG. The building's façades stand out due to the asymmetric arrangement of their windows and a distinctive exchange between rendered surfaces and sections where the brickwork is exposed. The designer Christian Brandstädter from Wiesbaden is responsible for the colour scheme and the park-like outdoor spaces were designed by Plan D.

As part of the first phase the two, three and four room apartments are currently up for sale. The spaces range between 65 and 188 square metres. The ground floor apartments have terraced areas and private sections of garden. The flats on the higher levels have large loggias, balconies or ample roof top terraces. In two years time the first phase is due to be completed. According to Bien-Ries, the purchase price for the apartments should be between 185,000 Euro and 791,000 Euro. The largest of the penthouses will be around 188 square metres.

Bien-Ries is going for "top quality" regarding the interior design of the apartments as it has done in all other six ventures in Riedberg. The living rooms will have lift and slide windows, room high doorways, oak parquet flooring and bathroom fittings that have previously won design prizes. All of the buildings in "feelin’ good" can apply for the "Energieeffizienhaus 70" certificate as soon they have been completed. Thermal solar panels support water heating and a hygrometric ventilation system helps to regulate dampness in the apartments.
